1. Scope
These terms apply only to the Bar League program of APC, which consists of Circuit, Series, and Championship events. Other APC operations, such as Home Games or online activities, may be subject to different membership terms.
2. Event Access
-
Every membership comes with full access to the Bar League schedule — Circuit, Series, and Championship events.
-
Seating is offered on a first-come basis, and capacity limits may apply.
-
The Tournament of Champions is reserved for qualifiers, and while eligibility is guaranteed through performance, final seating is limited.
3. Refund Policy
-
APC offers a 100% refund guarantee.
-
Members who have not yet played a Bar League event since registering will receive a full refund, no questions asked.
-
Members who have played events may still request a refund, subject to a deduction of $5 for each Circuit event and $10 for each Series event played.
-
Example: A member who purchases a $30 membership, plays 3 Circuit events and 1 Series event, then requests a refund will receive $5 back ($30 – $15 – $10).
-
-
This refund policy also applies, with appropriate adjustments, to future membership packages such as bulk discounts.
4. Transparency & Member Rights
-
APC maintains a commitment to transparency in all financial matters. This includes, but is not limited to, poker prize pools, sponsor contributions, advertising revenue, merchandise sales, charitable initiatives, and operating expenses.
-
While APC reserves flexibility in the format and frequency of disclosures, members will always have access to a clear and accurate account of Club finances.
-
Members also have the right to raise concerns directly with senior officers of the Club, including the corporate board, without restriction.
5. Eligibility
-
Membership is open to individuals 18 years and older.
-
Memberships are issued on a personal basis and cannot be transferred or shared.
6. Membership Periods & Fees
-
Memberships are available in packages (currently 6 months, with additional options introduced at APC’s discretion).
-
Fees must be paid in full at registration.
-
Members agree that a portion of buy-in funds will be retained to fund long-term competitive prize pools (e.g., Player of the Month, Player of the Year, Tournament of Champions), which are awarded only to qualifying players.
7. Guest Access
-
Only registered members may participate in Bar League events.
-
Guest play and free trials are not permitted.
-
The one-month membership option ($10), combined with the refund policy, provides a low-cost way to try the Bar League.
8. Member Responsibilities
-
Members are responsible for keeping their contact information up to date.
-
Members must respect posted start times and locations.
-
Government-issued ID may be requested at registration or entry.
9. Conduct & Discipline
-
Members are expected to act with integrity and respect others at all times.
-
Any action deemed harmful to APC, its members, or its reputation may result in warning, suspension, or termination of membership.
-
Decisions of the Club Manager are final.
-
Terminated memberships are not entitled to a refund. (In practice, APC may issue refunds at its discretion in cases other than cheating or violence.)
10. Privacy & Use of Information
-
APC collects basic information (name, email, phone) for membership and administration only.
-
Members may choose a display name for public use.
-
Real first and last names may be published in protected areas of the APC website (visible to members only).
-
No other personal information will be shared outside APC staff and directors.
11. Liability Waiver
-
Participation in APC events is at the member’s own risk.
-
APC and its venues are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, except where required by law.
12. Amendments
-
APC reserves the right to update or amend these membership terms.
-
Changes made will take effect immediately; updated terms will be in force as soon as the change is reflected in the rule book present at an applicable event, and/or once it has been posted publicly on the APC website.
-
Although APC will always attempt to give notice, members are responsible for following changes in terms.
